With windows 7 Beta now out making its treks XP’s days may be numbered; but for older computers it will most likely stay the viable choice.
I myself love XP and have been tweaking it, playing around and customising it for bet performance and security.
Below are a number of registry tweaks I use to maximise the ‘benefit’ of XP!
(to use the file rename it from .reg.txt to .reg only and double click).

Vista is out of the way… Window 7 is still in Beta.. so I guess XP still has its own stand..
Indeed until windows 7 comes out, XP is the best option in my opinion.
I am informed that it is better not to move from XP to 7. Even if one can lay his hands on a version, the arrangement is to let it work only till August. What is the real inside story about 7 and those who are still on XP. What will happen when XP support is withdrawn?
I have yet to test out windows 7, but the reviews have been very positive. The only downside I see with 7 is that there are going to be 6 versions of it!
Till the first Service Pack though I’ll be sitting with the tried and tested XP.
