This week has been slow in regards to the site as uni calls! Though now slowly as the site is being indexed there has been some steady traffic and i even have been getting a few emails in the post telling me about some new free games!
Well firstly Battlefield Heroes, yes I know its not out yet and I know to those who follow the gaming news channels its not ‘news’ either. So this is for those of you who haven’t heard of it.
Battlefield Heroes is a new type of game from EA not in the sense of a new genre or a new type of gameplay but due to the fact the game is ‘monetized’ by in game adds. What this means is that the game itself will be free to download from the site and free to play, and the way EA will make money from the game is advertisement within it.
I’m not to sure where these adds will be placed, but i suppose for maximum exposure they would be in / on the login screen.
The game itself is a first person (or third) shooter. It has a nice Incrediblesque cartoony feel to the game, pictures and videos are better then words so check out the screenshots here.

Moving on then I was sent a link to this free dance game. The game is called Audition and having a quick look at it, it looks pretty good. Though I assume it is aimed at the young girls or the ye olde hipsters who look at it remembering when they could do that! Nonetheless it is worth a look.
