Now the entrecard bot is not perfect; (it has no gui yet :p) so below i have tried to give a small step by step on how to run it.
Step one;
Turn on Firefox; now this has to be a blank one with no extra addons of any sort; you can create a new profile for this by typing in ‘run’
C:Program FilesMozilla Firefoxfirefox.exe” –profilemanager
Step Two
Once this is set this put firefox in full screen and disable any 3rd party ad-blockers such as anitvirus and firewalls.
Step Three
Run the program and you should get the following dialogues:
This dialogue appears once it has actually found an internet connection and is there actually to give you time to open firefox.
Here you set the minimum time you wait before clicking on the drop button. Note though his includes the time it takes for the webpage to fully load so take this into account when doing this.
This is for the maximum time it will wait before clicking on the drop button.
This is where you set the minimum time limit it should wait AFTER the click; this is to emulate human behaviour and help improve the bounce rate of the pages we are visiting.
Here you set the maximum for the above variable.
Enter your username (email) here.
And your password here to help with the autologin.
Note if ever you wish to change any of the setting go to your “c:” (C drive) and delete ‘ecbot.ini’ and rerun the program.
Step Four
After the password dialogue, the bot will minimize and get to work, it WILL take over your keyboard and mouse, so it is best recommended to be left over night. Depending on your times set, it will take between 20min to 2years to complete :p
Note while every thing has been done to get a successful drop; sometimes the owners move the widget or entrecard backend slows down so to prevent the display of the widget or count the drops properly.
If you ever want to pause the bot either pause it via the icon on your system tray or hit the ‘pause’ button on your keyboard. also the ‘esc’ button will exit the bot.

i will try this bot
the bot is actually broken at the moment but I will be fixing it soon.
Well it’s a nice little bot and all but it kinda defeats the purpose of Entrecard
Some people drop the cards on blogs manually while connecting to the bloggers (commenting, contacting them etc)
Indeed it is arguable it defeats the purpose. However when I wrote this I was getting no real return form EC; just people coming and dropping, even if I commented etc etc.
This was just a ploy for me to learn the auto it language and further the code in Entrecard Bot – The code within can be applied to a lot of different programs. Doesn’t have to be a bot.
