Thanks for dropping by Russell and adding your input. After playing around with commenting software and the such I have found that when working on a Niche site (not a main one where I want a 'audience') its easier to outsource it.

Yes the cost may seem higher BUT you are getting guaranteed dofollow comments in niches related to yours, with all details verified etc. Downside being possibly poor English, but really we're after the related links arn't we?

Thanks for the review. I had already purchased and been using Blog Comment Demon for 7 days when I found your post. The reason I found your post is because I was doing research to find out why Blog Comment Demon sucked so bad for me. I assumed it MUST be because I don't know how to use it. However, it's pretty simple. We've been testing it in a variety of different niches using different keywords. I've found the following serious flaws:

1.) Drill Feature works 10% of the time or less
2.) Auto Fill feature constantly leaves out the name, url, email address, etc.
3.) Too many Unknown tags that can't be drilled
4.) Auto Fill often does not work and you must go into the blog itself and cut and paste from your autofill
5.) Filtering for Do Follow only often yields no results
6.) Blogs returned are often completely unrelated to keyword
7.) Searching for blogs takes a very long time before you can even tell if there are ANY good results

So far BCD seems to waste a lot of time, and we have been very thorough in our use of it. It can be used successfully if you have patience and understand that ultimately you'll do more by hand than this software supposedly automates. The two best things about the software are:

1.) The ability to scan for approved comments
2.) The ability to manage numerous products

I'm not if I can continue to use this software or not. I haven't given up yet but so far it does not look good.

I have been using bookmarking daemon 5 for some time. Dont know about version 1.0, but now it is very well thought and highly automated. Missed a few features (like pause submission process and some more).
Like it very much.
