Actually I am creating a website where everyone can express their thoughts and talk about anything while remaining anonymous and unknown even for the site.
I dont know if I am allowed to mention the site’s name, however Ill mention it and if not right to mention, I understand if it is removed..

Maintaining privacy full stop. That is a challenge in itself. Both in the online and offline world, though there are always steps one can take to improve or have some privacy.

True unless you are an extremely careful on what information you submit; have every technical barrier between you and person X. given enough time X can find it all out.

Very good tips. Unfortunately, complete anonymity is never possible. In this information age, there is no real privacy. But #1 and #8 are really effective.

@germz, yes that is an alternative but be wary there are a number of different types of proxies, some are just gateways and log your IP etc, while others are a lot more secure, as they log nothing.
